CORVALLIS – After a long recruiting and signing period the Oregon State wrestling staff has announced eight student-athletes who will come to the best college town in the Pac-12 for the 2019-20 season.
Of the new additions, six hail from the state of Oregon, two are from California and one comes from the East Coast in New Jersey.
Brian Barnes, originally from McMinnville High School, transfers to Oregon State from the Big 12's Northern Colorado. Barnes finished his redshirt season for the Bears 6-4 overall with three total falls. During his high school career, Barnes won three Oregon state championships which is the most in McMinnville school history.
