The Beavers’ face off with the Rocky Mountain schools got off to a great start with a dominating 89-65 win over Colorado. That win sends the Beavers to 18-3 overall, and 8-1 in the conference.
Aleah Goodman got the game started with a pair of three point shots to give the Beavers an early cushion. Oregon State looked like they would pull away early, but the Buffaloes hung tough, not letting the Beaver lead get out of hand. A couple of clutch threes from Mya Hollingshed and Alexis Robinson kept things only a couple scores apart.
Destiny Slocum started her big game in the first hitting layup after layup en route to an 8 point quarter.
