Beavers battle Stanford in 26-15 setback

STANFORD, Calif. – Sophomore quarterback Marcus McMaryion and senior wide receiver Victor Bolden Jr. teamed up on the longest completion and reception of their careers on Saturday but the Oregon State football team fell 26-15 to Stanford at Stanford Stadium.

McMaryion threw a 75-yard TD pass to Bolden to bring the Beavers (2-7, 1-5 Pac-12) within 10-7 at 10:56 of the second quarter. His previous longest completion was 48 yards against Washington State on Oct. 29; Bolden's previous long catch was 72 yards against Washington in 2014.

Sophomore tailback Ryan Nall added a 52-yard run in the third quarter to set up OSU's second touchdown, a three-yard run by McMaryion on the first play of the fourth quarter.
