After a furious start to the season, the Oregon State women’s soccer team’s slate slowed down, with just one match-up on the docket over the last week.
Welcoming Idaho to Corvallis, the women trailed after an early goal by the Vandals’ Morgan Crosby, but Sophie Conrad tied the match up with just ten minutes to go until halftime. A 1-1 tie at the break was eventually disrupted by Kaillen Fried, who also assisted on Conrad’s finish, when she netted the game-winner at the 77th minute mark.
The Beavers out-shot Idaho by an 18-5 margin in the clash and held an 8-3 advantage in corner kicks.
