Oregon high school football is loaded with high-level prospects in the class of 2018, but next year may not be as fruitful for Pac-12 programs.

Sheldon four-star trio Michael Johnson Jr. (QB), Raymond Woodie III (athlete) and Patrick Herbert (TE) are surefire national recruits, but beyond that few prospects have emerged as true Power 5 conference talents.

One player on the cusp of making that leap, however, is South Salem offensive lineman Ashton Adams, a 6-foot-4, 290-pound mauler who is starting to hear from both the Oregon Ducks and Oregon State Beavers.

Last weekend, Adams took an unofficial visit to the University of Oregon on the invitation of co-offensive coordinator/offensive line coach Mario Cristobal, and was blown away by the experience.
