LOS ANGELES - USC paraded to the free throw line Thursday night in a romp of Oregon State.
The Trojans' 31 free throw attempts marked their third-highest total all season and kept OSU in line for a rare statistic. In all 12 Pac-12 games the Beavers have played, their opponent has gone to the line more frequently. They were 9 of 14 in the 92-66 loss.
"That seems to be happening to us a lot," head coach Wayne Tinkle said Thursday.
Free throw shooting was once a glaring issue. OSU (4-21, 0-12 Pac-12) made only 59.
