As FBI investigation consumes college basketball, Wayne Tinkle to focus on 'doing things the way we're doing them'

CORVALLIS - On Thursday night at Gill Coliseum after No. 14 Arizona came back to beat Oregon State in overtime, competing coaches Sean Miller and Wayne Tinkle exchanged handshakes before leaving the court.

In retrospect, it may have been the final time Miller took the court as a college basketball coach.

On Friday night, citing sources familiar with the evidence, ESPN reported that FBI wiretaps picked up the Arizona coach on a phone call discussing paying top recruit Deandre Ayton $100,000.

Miller, who released a statement through Arizona saying he was confident he will be "vindicated," did not coach Saturday night against Oregon.
