The Oregon State Beavers had a less-than-stellar showing on the in-state recruiting trail during the 2018 recruiting cycle, but are looking to change that this year and have jumped on several key targets early.
Already having secured Clackamas defensive lineman Kelsen Hennessy, Jonathan Smith and his staff are also heavily recruiting West Salem athlete Anthony Gould, who received a scholarship offer in December - his first.
The interest is mutual, and the 5-foot-8, 153-pound speedster is set to visit Oregon State this weekend.
"I want to meet all of the coaches - Coach Smith, Coach Riley again," he said.
