Anderson’s Single Completes Comeback

CORVALLIS, Ore. – Runners on the corners, two outs and an 0-1 count against Washington reliever Troy Rallings in a tie game in the eighth inning at Goss Stadium at Coleman Field.

Anderson struck an 0-1 fastball from Rallings back up the middle, scoring KJ Harrison from third to clinch a come-from-behind 5-4 victory over Washington in front of 3,319 fans at Goss Stadium. The win sent sixth-ranked Oregon State to a series victory over the Huskies with the finale set for 4:05 p.m. on Sunday.

Max Engelbrekt came on in the ninth, and got Josh Cushing to strike out with two runners on scoring position to clinch the win.
