CORVALLIS, Ore. – Oregon State outfielder Jack Anderson is one of 30 candidates nationally for the prestigious Senior Class Award, it was announced Wednesday.
The honor is given annually to a Division I senior student-athlete in baseball who has notable achievements in four areas of excellence: community, classroom, character and competition.
Anderson, who hails from Lake Oswego, Ore., is a two-time Pac-12 All-Academic First Team selection as a kinesiology major. He was also named CoSIDA Academic All-District 8 last season. He has announced that he will attend Regis University after his playing career; he will be studying for a Doctorate in Physical Therapy.
