CORVALLIS – Oregon State's missed offensive opportunities have been a team concern as of late and nearly led to a loss Tuesday against Seattle.
But the Beavers also looked to be rounding into defensive form, recording their sixth errorless game in the last nine contests. Twice on Tuesday, they made potential run-saving plays when left fielder Christian Donahue found shortstop and cutoff man Trever Morrison, who fired a rocket to third baseman Cadyn Grenier for a tag and the inning's third out.
"Trever had a heck of a day," junior catcher Logan Ice said.
