CORVALLIS – If there was a debt Ryan Nall had to pay his offensive line after his monster performance Saturday, the Oregon State running back said it would come in the form of hugs.
"I'm not financially stable enough to buy them dinner yet," the sophomore joked.
It was a moment of levity for Nall in between the highs and lows of his busy weekend. A planned focus on the run game during a 47-44 win over California played into the 6-foot-2, 234-pound bruiser's hands. The Beavers tallied 474 yards on the ground, a school-record for a conference game, and featured the best performance of Nall's college career.
