Conor Blount, quarterback
The former walk-on from Wisconsin emerged from a packed field as a starting contender. While senior Jake Luton has more experience and entered the offseason as the projected starter coming off a season-ending injury, Blount has mobility and a gunslinger mentality that could give him a shot to make the competition interesting during fall camp.

Timmy Hernandez, wide receiver
Hernandez was a consistent go-to target throughout spring practice, particularly after Isaiah Hodgins went down with a dislocated shoulder. The senior had 25 of his 30 catches last season in year’s final six games.
