During the U.S. Army All-American game this morning Jamire Calvin announced his decision to commit to Oregon State. Jamire Calvin is considered one of the top slot receivers in the nation and immediately becomes the jewel of the 2017 recruiting class. His top-5 schools were Alabama, Nebraska, Notre Dame, Washington State and Oregon State, but he had over 30 scholarship offers.
The 5-foot-9, 175-pound pass-catcher join high school teammates Arex Flemings and Jeffery Manning Jr. who have also committed to Oregon State for the upcoming season. Calvin’s connection and familiarity with his high school teammates had a big impact on his decision.
