It is obvious to Beaver Nation that Oregon State is need for some security at the quarterback position for the future. This previously recruiting cycle, Jonathan Smith and the rest of the new coaching staff were able to bring in three-star junior college quarterback Jack Colletto along with three-star Lake Oswego quarterback Jake Dukart in the 2018 class, but remain in the hunt for a signal caller who can help build and lead the program in the future.
The Beavers currently have six quarterbacks on the roster including redshirt sophomore Connor Blount, sophomore Jack Colletto, incoming freshman Jake Dukart, senior Jake Luton, redshirt freshman Nick Moore, who is a transfer from Eastern Washington and will have three years of eligibility remaining starting in 2019, and redshirt freshman Aiden Willard.
