The Buffs come in to the season with some pretty high expectations. Picked to finish second by the Pac 12 coaches (tied with for first place votes) the hope their returning core of McKinley Wright, Tyler Bey, and Evan Battey can guide them to the top of the conference.
McKinley Wright is the star of the show in Boulder. The point guard has been relied upon heavily by the Buffs in years previous and has constantly proven up to the task. The expectations are sky high as he enters the year experienced and healthy (played through a torn labrum last season).
