CORVALLIS, Ore. – Oregon State inside linebacker Omar Speights has been named a preseason fourth-team All-American by Phil Steele. Speights leads a list of 10 Beavers who have also been named preseason All-Pac-12 selections.
Offensive lineman Brandon Kipper joins Speights as preseason All-Pac-12 First Team selections. Both Speights and Kipper were named All-Pac-12 Honorable Mention selections by the league's coaches last season.
Three Beavers have also been named preseason second team. Fellow offensive lineman Joshua Gray joins Kipper; Gray was also an honorable mention selection last year. As was defensive back Jaydon Grant, who was also selected second team by Phil Steele.
