With a 3-1 defeat of Stanford on Friday night in Palo Alto, the Oregon State Baseball team completed its first perfect month with 10 or more games in 35 years.
Luke Heimlich threw his second career complete game and racked up 114 pitches, 83 of which were strikes (That’s 72.8%). He struck out two batters along the way and kept the Cardinal to four hits. The OSU offense tallied seven hits on the night and Stanford committed two errors.
KJ Harrison doubled in the first to score Nick Madrigal for the opening run in the first inning.
