They say all good things must come to an end. The Beavers learned that the hard way Thursday night in Seattle as they fell to 28-2 on the year and to 12-1 in league play.
The game began on a high note with Nick Madrigal smacking a double to the left field wall on the second pitch of the game. A few batters later, Trevor Larnach drove him in with a double of his own.
The bottom of the sixth was where things started to get hairy. UW tied it up when Willie MacIver doubled to score Jack Meggs.
