Oregon left-handed pitcher Brooke Yanez was named the Pac-12 Pitcher of the Week on Tuesday after tossing a complete game in a win over No. 1 UCLA Sunday and earning the save later in the day against Utah.
Yanez turned in another dominant start in the circle against the top-ranked Bruins in Sunday's win, striking out 10 while walking just one and giving up a run on six hits in a complete game victory. She retired 11 batters in a row at one point and set UCLA down in order in four of her seven inning pitched.
