Oregon left-handed pitcher Brooke Yanez was named the Pac-12 Pitcher of the Week for the second consecutive week, the conference announced Monday.
Yanez is the first Oregon pitcher to win the award in back-to-back weeks since Cheridan Hawkins in 2015. She also earned the weekly award for the third time this season, becoming the first Duck since Hawkins in 2015 to be named conference pitcher of the week at least three times in a season.
Yanez recorded 20 strikeouts to just four walks in three appearances at California, posting a 0.51 ERA over 13.2 innings while going 2-0.
