Williams Named Pac-12 Scholar-Athlete Of The Year

SAN FRANCISCO – Oregon women's lacrosse senior attacker Shannon Williams has been named the 2019 Pac-12 Scholar of the Year, announced by the conference office Wednesday morning.

Williams will graduate from the College of Liberal Arts and Sciences in June with a double major in human physiology and biology. She will also finish with a minor in chemistry and currently sports a 3.95 cumulative grade-point average (GPA).

"I'm really proud of Shannon for all she has achieved on and off the field for this program," head coach Chelsea Gamble said. "She truly exemplifies what it means to be a student-athlete.
