Williams Earns Pac-12 Leadership Award

EUGENE, Ore. – Former Oregon player Shannon Williams was named one of two recipients of the Pac-12 Leadership Award for 2018-19 Thursday as announced by the Pac-12 Conference. This is the second year in a row that an Oregon lacrosse player has won the award, after Natalie Modly received the honor for the 2017-18 academic year.

The Pac-12 Leadership Award is given annually to one male and one female student-athlete who demonstrated outstanding leadership and served on their school's Student-Athlete Advisory Committee (SAAC). The award, which includes a $3000 scholarship for postgraduate study, is voted on by the Pac-12 Conference's SAAC and given to a student-athlete that has completed their athletics eligibility with plans to attend graduate school.
