The Portland Trail Blazers fell 98-97 to the Memphis Grizzles Tuesday night at the Moda Center.
Portland guard CJ McCollum led all scorers with 36 points on 14 for 26 shooting. Damian Lillard added 12 points, six assist and five rebounds for the Trail Blazers (6-5).
Former Oregon Ducks star Dillon Brooks played his first professional game in Portland with former teammates and coach Dana Altman in attendance. Brooks finished with seven points, eight rebounds and two steals in 38 minutes.
Brooks put the Grizzlies up 96-91 after making a three-point play with 39 seconds remaining in the game.
