The Oregon Ducks were looking for their first sweep of a Pac-12 team since 2016 after taking the first two games against Washington State in a Friday Doubleheader. Oregon had home momentum and had consistency in their rotation in recent weeks. Kolby Sommers got the ball for the Ducks, but the Oregon Offense was unable to get a hit against the Cougars.
The Ducks not only lost the final game of the series at home but were also no-hit at PK Park after a promising start to the three-game series with WSU. Sommers threw six innings giving up six hits and three runs while striking out four.
