-- Vin Lananna isn't sweating the growing competition to host the 2020 NCAA Outdoor Track & Field Championships.
The University of Oregon associate athletic director and TrackTown USA local organizing committee president said he believes the swank track stadium that will replace Hayward Field and Eugene's traditional embrace of the sport will be too much for the NCAA to pass up.
"I think over the last bunch of years this community has done a great job of hosting the NCAAs," Lananna said. "I think that probably counts for something.
"And to be able to welcome the NCAA schools to what may be one of the great facilities in the world will be fabulous.
