It looks like the summer-long wait for Vernon Adams to finally become eligible has finally paid off.
It was announced that Vernon Adams, along with Notre Dame transfer Matt Hegarty, will be two new senior leaders to start for the Ducks. Adams has been battling it out with Jeff Lockie, someone a lot of people thought would be the heir apparent to Heisman winner and former Duck quarterback Marcus Mariota.
Vernon Adams, as we all know, is the transfer from Eastern Washington, who had a little bit of trouble getting in to the Oregon program.
