Oregon was expecting Eastern Washington's Vernon Adams to compete for the starting QB position this fall, but that may no longer be the case.
UPDATE (10:40am): Per Bruce Feldman, Adams is still finishing up a math class, which has been known for some time. He expects to be done in the next "week or so".
But Andrew Greif notes that EWU's summer quarter ends on August 14th, while Oregon's fall camp starts on August 10th, which means Adams might not be available at the start of fall camp, even if the transfer comes through.
