A couple things ...
-- Leonard Korir and Aliphine Tuliamuk won the men's and women's titles respectively in the AJC Peachtree Road Race -- which doubles as the USATF 10km Championships yesterday -- in Atlanta.
Jordan Hasay of the Nike Oregon Project was third in the women's race. And you don't have to look very far in the women's results to find University of Portland's Lauren LaRocco. She finished seventh, ahead of some established professionals such as Neely Spence Grace, Lindsey Scherf and Tara Welling.
How about that?
LaRocco was a junior last year at UP, although she redshirted outdoors.
