As the Ducks enjoyed their bye week, reveling in their big-time win over the Penn State Nittany Lions for a few more days, Oregon head coach Dan Lanning didn't take any time off.

Instead, Lanning flew back across the country to attend a high school football game and put eyes on three-star wide receiver Carter Davis, who is arguably one of the most underrated prospects in the class of 2027.

Davis, an Alabama native, has received offers from the Alabama Crimson Tide, Auburn Tigers, Arkansas Razorbacks, LSU Tigers, and more. However, Lanning and the Oregon Ducks have yet to extend an offer to the young wideout, even with the head coach attending his mid-season game.
