Talanoa Hufanga, nation's No. 1 athlete, one of 16 nominees for U.S. Army Player of the Year

On Monday, the U.S. Army All-American Bowl released its 16 nominees for the U.S. Army Player of the Year award, including Crescent Valley athlete Talanoa Hufanga.

Rated as the nation's No. 1 athlete and a consensus five-star prospect, the 6-foot-1, 193-pound future safety remains uncommitted, but has a top six of Michigan, Nebraska, Oregon, UCLA, USC and Utah.
