EUGENE -- Taj Griffin wasn't able to turn the heads of Oregon's new coaching staff during spring football and, if he's being honest, the junior running back said that hurt.
Griffin has been sidelined since Stanford week of last season, when he suffered a torn ACL in a non-contact injury during practice.
Since then, Oregon fired it's coaching staff and brought in a new one, led by new head coach Willie Taggart. And while almost everyone else had the chance to make a strong first impression this spring, Griffin had to sit out.
"I wish I could have been out there," Griffin said Sunday.
