STANFORD, Calif. – Oregon got steady play across the board to shoot 7 over and be in a tie for fifth place after round one of The Goodwin Thursday at Stanford Golf Course. Ryan Gronlund led the way once again for the Ducks, shooting an even-par 70, while the players who's scores counted combined to make just one double bogey.
How it Happened: Gronlund got off to a great start following his first career win two days ago with a birdie to open the day at the par-4 10th. He bogeyed 11 but got the shot back at the par-5 16th with a birdie to get to 1 under.
