Oregon men’s tennis head coach Nils Schyllander continues to land the top talent in the Pacific Northwest as he announced the signing of five-star recruit Ty Gentry today. A product of Olympia, Wash., Gentry is ranked No. 2 in the state of Washington and Northwest region as well as No. 27 in the country, according to TennisRecruiting.net.
“We are thrilled with the addition of Ty to the Duck Family,” Schyllander said. “His upside is huge and both Coach Piibor and myself feel there are no limits to what he can accomplish at Oregon. In addition to being an outstanding tennis player, Ty is a tremendous person who will fit in great with our team and with the culture we are building as a program.
