EUGENE, Ore. – Oregon forward Nyara Sabally was named to the top 10 watch list for the Katrina McClain Award, given annually to the nation's top power forward.
Sabally currently ranks fifth in the conference in scoring, averaging 15.9 PPG while sitting in fourth with a field goal percentage of 55.5. She is putting up 16.8 PPG while grabbing 7.2 rebounds per game in Pac-12 play, and is the only player in the conference averaging at least 16 points and seven rebounds per game in league play.
The redshirt junior leads the team with five 20-point games this season with Oregon going 5-0 in those games.
