Rematch With WSU Kicks Off Second Half of Pac-12 Play

EUGENE, Ore. - The No. 13 ranked Oregon women's basketball team will be back in Matthew Knight Arena this weekend to kick off the second half of the 22-game Pac-12 Conference schedule, beginning with a much-anticipated rematch with Washington State on Friday night at 5 p.m. PT.

Oregon fought back from a nine-point deficit to defeat the Cougars, 69-65, in Pullman on Dec. 21, fueled by a 19-point, 14-rebound double-double from Nyara Sabally as well as 18 points on 5-of-5 shooting from three-point range by Erin Boley. Boley and Jaz Shelley both hit clutch shots late to give Oregon the lead, and freshman Maddie Scherr came up with a crucial steal and hit two free throws to ice the game.
