The Oregon Ducks have had success in Track and Field over the years. The Women of Oregon just made history earning the Triple Crown, the first school to accomplish the feat. Even more impressive, the team did the work outside of Eugene. They won the Cross Country Championship, the Indoor, and the Outdoor. The fans came out on Saturday for the final day of competition and in a rainy not ideal weekend, Eugene came through in a big way.
Hayward Field had over 12,000 on hand for the Women’s Final. Keeping in mind that last season there were additional bleachers in anticipation of the Olympic Trials.
