The Oregon Ducks will be well-represented with the past and present in August at the IAAF World Championships. Over the weekend at the U.S. Championships in Sacramento, California Deajah Stevens added a U.S. Championship to go with her Oregon career. She ran with a headwind and won the title with a run of 22.30. Stevens will have some company in August.
Oregon Teammate Demarcus Simpson will join her after his Semifinal run in the Long Jump gave him fifth place. For the Final, he saved his best as jumped to a 3rd place finish, good enough for a trip across the pond.
