Game 2 against the Hoosiers saw something of a similar pitching strategy as Game 2 against UCLA last weekend. Lyndsey Grein started and pitched the first inning, followed by Staci Chambers taking the circle in the second inning.
Before Grein took the circle in the bottom of the first, the Oregon offense started rolling early. Indiana starter Jasmine Reyes had early trouble and didn’t last an entire inning, what with the Ducks pasting her with five runs. Rylee McCoy hit an RBI single for Oregon’s first run, and then runners on second and third came home with an Emma Cox double.
