Lost in all the hoopla of the Jim Leavitt news, it appears that the Ducks are likely to hire Texas Tech’s outside receivers coach (the Air Raid schools like to split up coaches into outside and inside receivers for some technical reason) Jovon Bouknight to fill in the vacant receivers coach spot. Coach Bouknight actually never coached a single down for the Red Raiders as he was part of the Utah State staff that ventured on over to Lubbock with HC Matt Wells. He played his college football at Wyoming. According to college football reference, Bouknight ranks in the top five in MWC history in receptions, yards, and touchdowns.
