EUGENE, Ore. – Oregon kicked off its 2023 dual season with a 4-0 sweep of Portland State Friday afternoon at the Student Tennis Center.
The Ducks (1-0) were able to clinch a tightly contested doubles point, as Courts 1 and 3 both went to tiebreakers. After Uxia Martinez Moral and Misaki Kobayashi gave the Ducks an early one-match edge, winning 6-2 at No. 2 doubles, Karin Young and Myah Petchey pulled out a 7-6 (5) victory at No.
