EUGENE -- One of Oregon's freshmen offensive linemen is in concussion protocol.

Steven Jones, who started at left tackle against Utah due to the first-half suspension of center Jake Hanson, went down during the fourth quarter and is being evaluated as part of concussion protocol, according to Oregon coach Mario Cristobal.

Jones was noticeably woozy and had to be escorted to the team bus after Saturday's game at Utah.

Cristobal said Jones "played a tremendous game" in his first career start.

"He was a significant factor in a lot of the things that were done in a positive manner on Saturday," Cristobal said.
