Oregon football is bringing in one of its most talented freshman classes ever, highlighted by Ty Thompson and Kingsley Suamataia, but there were a couple of top-75 ranked receivers who were expected to have decent roles early on.
Both Troy Franklin and Dont’e Thornton enrolled early and performed well in the spring, even had monster spring game showings.
Expectations were high for the two freshman receivers but their roles heading into the 2021 season were uncertain.
