Emerson played a larger role last season working with the kickoff unit. He was booked September 2nd on charges of criminal mischief and criminal trespass, both are Class A Misdemeanors. He was released after six hours of his arrest.
On Monday, Head Coach Mario Cristobal also announced that Kicker Adam Stack was leaving the program. He will enter the transfer portal looking for more playing time to close out his collegiate career. Stack was one of the top kickers in the nation when he committed to Oregon Football. With Emerson likely to not rejoin the team anytime soon and Stack now departed, that leaves Camden Lewis as the only placekicker on the team.
