Former U.S. Open champion and 2017 PAC-12 Champion Wyndham Clark fell 10 shots behind leader Brian Harman of the U.S. after shooting a 5-over 76 in his first round at the Open Championship at Royal Portrush Golf Club in Ireland.
He's in danger of missing the cut, currently projected at +2. Clark tees off this morning at 7:21 a.m. PT. Earlier this week he was suspended by the Oakmont Golf Club, site of the 2025 U.S. Open in June, for damaging a locker after a frustrating round of play at the national championship.
American golfer Brian Harman is the current leader at -7 as of this morning.
