Former Oregon forward Brandon Angel scored 12 points and pulled down 8 rebounds in just 18 minutes off the bench for the Phoenix Suns in their 111-87 win over Portland Saturday.
Angel transferred from Stanford and started 35 games for the Ducks last season, averaging 8.3 points a game and 3.8 rebounds in 25-10 season that ended in the second round of the NCAA Tournament.
Keeshawn Barthelemy got in for five minutes for Portland but missed both his shots. Getting invited to Summer League rosters was a step, but now the two await whether they'll get a shot at preseason camp or have to go around the world to play more basketball.
