Last season there was some criticism toward Oregon and a lackluster non-conference schedule so George Horton went to work in challenging his team with non-conference schedule this season that featured Alabama and Notre Dame, as well as a trip to Michigan State this weekend. The early season road trip has not worked out as planned so far for the 11-10 Oregon Ducks Baseball team.
After a fast start in the first inning and Jake Bennett driving in Austin Grebeck, the Fighting Irish took a 4-1 lead by the 4th inning and never looked back. The Oregon Ducks threatened with runners in scoring position, but could not get runners to cross home plate.
