Chip Kelly Week. Like Beatles Week. Or Shark Week. That's what first-year Oregon football Mario Cristobal finds himself immersed in this week.
I found it interesting that Kelly, now the coach at UCLA, was asked this week about whether he'd visit his favorite Dairy Queen in Eugene. Or if he'd look around Autzen Stadium before kickoff and think on all he accomplished there. He said "no" on both fronts.
I wrote about some fun stories involving Kelly earlier this week. But it's Cristobal I'm left thinking about in the run-up to kickoff. Because Oregon is his program now, and he has a wonderful opportunity to step out of Kelly's shadow on Saturday.
