Oregon Ducks expected to hire Cort Dennison as linebackers coach

Just seven years after Cort Dennison led the Pac-12 in tackles, the former Washington linebacker is expected to join Oregon's staff, a source confirmed to The Oregonian/OregonLive, where he'll tutor UO's outside linebackers.

The hiring, first reported by Cardinal Authority, would be the second in as many days for head coach Mario Cristobal, who added Jim Mastro as running backs coach and run game coordinator this weekend.

Dennison would be the youngest member of UO's full-time staff. He graduated from Washington in 2011. At Louisville, he coached linebackers and also was the Cardinals' recruiting coordinator.
