The Oregon Ducks began their 111th season on the hardwood on Friday night hosting Jackson State and taking down the Tigers 80-52 off a 20 point effort from Freshman Tyler Dorsey. The supporting cast made it look easy with steals and blocks on Defense, including five from Chris Boucher. Oregon hit 49 percent for the game from the floor and 41 percent from three point range including a monster half court shot to end the first half from Dwayne Benjamin that bought the crowd of 5,577 at Matthew Knight Arena to their feet in the first game of the regular season.
